Two young sisters in matching blue dresses, legs dangling from a weathered log. Golden light filtering through eucalyptus trees behind them. This family has been in front of Cass’s camera four times now—since their second was born—and each session just gets better. You can see it in how they move together, how comfortable they’ve become.

Downtown San Rafael Open Space offers everything: shade from those giant eucalyptus canopies, open meadow, easy parking, an easy walk. The kind of place where a family can just be. Kids running down sun-dappled paths, a mother kneeling in golden grass to hold her daughters close, siblings barefoot on boulders squinting into afternoon light. The light here does the work—warm, filtered, honest.

Cass loves watching families grow through these sessions. Loves this spot too.
