Land’s End has those gnarled cypress trees that look like they’ve been twisting in the wind forever. This family moved through them like they belonged there — walking the sandy trails, climbing the massive trunks, settling into the roots. The older kids hanging mid-climb. The toddler studying his sneakered feet in the golden light. A father holding his laughing son against his chest while the late afternoon sun caught everything.

There was real playfulness here. Snuggles and cozy moments, but loose and genuine. A mother and daughter embracing beneath the branches. Both kids gripping a weathered limb, the boy’s joy unfiltered. The whole family nestled together as the light filtered through, then standing on the coastal bluff with the ocean behind them, everyone leaning in close.

Soft coastal light. Windswept branches. The kind of afternoon that doesn’t need much.
