The Presidio’s Main Lawn. Green grass, shade from the brick buildings, a perfect place for kids to move. Cass had a plan, but the moment these two hit the lawn—running, jumping, playing pretend—she opened up and followed them instead.

That’s where the good stuff happened. A father lifting his daughter high in the afternoon light. All four of them sprawled on the grass, laughing together. The older brother cartwheeling while his little sister watched. Cass has known this family since before the second baby arrived—watched the oldest grow, felt him become like family. You can see it in every frame. The comfort. The genuine joy that doesn’t need posing.

Bright daylight, open space, the kind of afternoon that just works. These are the sessions Cass lives for.
