Light blue shirts against Golden Gate Park’s blooming gardens. Cass photographed these parents as an add-on to their family session (sweet professionals who wanted to upgrade their headshots while the light was good).
The afternoon was perfect for it. Soft natural light filtering through the garden, purple flowers, stone paths, lush green backdrops. Cass loved context-switching with them, moving between shots of each of them solo. The warmth in their faces came naturally.
Sometimes the best sessions are the unplanned ones.
