San Anselmo homes have a particular character (older bones, lots of natural light, yards that feel like they’ve been loved for a long time). This July evening session had all of that: warm late-afternoon light, a family completely at ease in their own space, and that unhurried quality that in-home sessions almost always find once everyone settles in. It felt less like a photo shoot and more like a slow family evening that I happened to be there for.
