A Spot I Keep Close

This is a tucked-away garden a few blocks from downtown San Anselmo. Easy parking, gorgeous evening light, and peaceful. It’s a private location, so I share the exact address once you’ve booked.

What to Wear Here

The garden is green and full, with warm evening light coming through it. Neutrals are always a safe base here: cream, oat, tan, soft grey, faded denim. For color, the garden gives you plenty to borrow. Burgundy, olive, dusty rose, warm brown. The photo at the top of this page is exactly that, a burgundy wrap over a cream dress, and it sits right in the setting. More on my what to wear page.

Timing

We start about three hours before sunset. That window gives us the soft, golden light this spot is known for.

Easy to Get To

Parking is simple and just a short walk from the garden itself. No adventure required, just good light and a calm setting.
