A Path on the Bay
Shoreline Park is a contained, easy path right on the water. Rocks, grass, a little beach, and the ferry gliding past. You can sometimes see the Golden Gate Bridge, but it’s far in the distance. This spot is about the coastal feel, not the bridge.

Getting There
Everything happens along the path, so there’s no walk in and no hills. Real shoes still help if your kids want to climb the rocks (they will). I’ll send parking and the exact meeting spot before your session.
What to Wear Here
Think sand and seashells here: water, pale rocks, a little beach, hills across the bay. Neutrals do most of the work, cream, oat, soft grey, faded denim. For color, keep it in the water family. Dusty blue, sage, soft rose. If it’s a foggy evening everything around you goes pale and cool, so one step deeper across the whole family keeps you from blending into it. More on my what to wear page.
Timing and Weather
I start these two hours before sunset, when the light goes soft over the water. It can get foggy out here, and the fog has its own soft look. Bring a layer either way.
