A New Spot for 2026
Woodacre Valley is our debut location this season: an open golden meadow bordered by oaks, with a small footbridge over a creek nearby. This first session day doubles as the shoot that gives this page its real photos.
Open and Bright
Expect soft evening light and lots of open space, a happy, bright feel that’s a little different from Marin’s more wooded spots.
What to Wear Here
An open golden meadow with oaks around the edges, bright and warm in the evening. Warm neutrals belong in it: cream, oat, tan, camel. For color, stay in the meadow’s family. Rust, soft gold, dusty rose, olive. In an open golden field I’d skip black and deep cool colors, since they read much darker than everything around them. More on my what to wear page.
